MARRBERY (collectively referred to as “MARRBERY”, “us” or “we”) understands that your privacy is important to you. We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal information, that is, any information that can identify you as an individual. This Privacy Policy describes how we process and protect your personal information in connection with MARRBERY business activities, such as conferences and events and customer service, as well as on websites, applications and communications that post a link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Sites”), as data controllers. The information we collect

MARRBERY collects personal data in the course of its commercial activities, including in connection with certain customer services. We also collect personal data in certain areas of the Sites when you register or apply for jobs through the MARRBERY Employment Portal, create a user profile, register to receive MARRBERY newsletters and alerts, participate in our alumni events through our Alumni Center website, register. for conferences and events and/or participate in publicly accessible user areas (such as message boards, discussion forums and surveys). The personal information we collect varies and may include information you provide, such as your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, fax number, and background information required to apply for a job.

MARRBERY may also collect personal information about you from third parties, such as data brokers or aggregators, in the course of its business activities, including in connection with certain customer services. This includes demographic, professional and other information that is publicly available online, including information you choose to post through social media platforms and other publicly available online forums. We may combine this data with information we have about you or use it independently for benchmarking and data analysis purposes (e.g., analyzing industry hiring practices, identifying financial transaction fraud schemes, attendance at retail environments). We will always seek to confirm that the third party has provided transparent information about its use of this data.

 

Use of information

Our Sites do not track you by collecting personal information about your online activities over time and on third-party websites or online services. Accordingly, we do not change the way we collect or use data in response to “do not track” signals from web browsers.

Use of Information Obtained from Mobile Devices

With respect to our mobile applications, MARRBERY may use third-party service providers to analyze user actions in order to correct errors, track usage and improve mobile application performance. For example, MARRBERY receives reports on aggregate usage of some of our mobile apps and browsing patterns, including information about the type of device used, articles viewed and other events occurring in our apps. MARRBERY also receives reports on certain errors occurring in our mobile apps. We do not share your browsing history with other users or any external third parties (i.e. individuals or entities that are not affiliates or third-party service providers of MARRBERY).

Legal basis on which we process your personal data

Our processing of your personal data for the purposes specified above is based on: in part on our legitimate interests in promoting and protecting MARRBERY, building and maintaining relationships. recruiting and providing our services; in part with your consent, such as if you create a user profile or register to receive our newsletters or alerts, or for business purposes that support web operations, such as understanding and improving the quality of your experience on our websites; in part to comply with the law when certain information is necessary to meet our legal or regulatory obligations.

User Forums

ou should be aware that whenever you publicly disclose information online, that information may be collected and used by others. MARRBERY is not responsible for any actions or policies of third parties that collect information that users publicly disclose in any such forums on the Sites.

Social network

Sites may allow you to log in to social media accounts, including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube, and link them to MARRBERY. Sites may also allow you to log in to your MARRBERY account using certain social networking account credentials. By linking your social media account to MARRBERY or by logging into your MARRBERY account using your social media account credentials, you are giving us permission to access information that you have made available in your public profile for that social media account. The information available in your public profile depends on the social network and your settings, but may include your email address, real name, profile picture, gender and location. We use the information we obtain from your social media account in accordance with the terms of use of the social media and this Privacy Policy. Security

MARRBERY has implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security to protect personal data from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. Only authorized MARRBERY personnel and third-party service providers have access to personal data, and these employees and service providers are required to treat this information as confidential. However, despite these precautions, MARRBERY cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will not gain access to your personal information.

Data storage

MARRBERY retains personal data as necessary during the relevant business relationship.

We may also retain personal data longer than the duration of the business relationship if we need to retain it to protect ourselves from lawsuits, use it to analyze or maintain historical records, or comply with our information management policies and schedules. If you request that we delete your personal information, MARRBERY will use reasonable efforts to completely delete all copies of the information. For requests for access, correction or deletion, please refer to the “Your Rights” section of this Privacy Policy.

Children

The sites are not intended or designed for children 16 years of age or younger, and MARRBERY does not knowingly collect or retain personal information about anyone under that age.
